Acupuncture therapy performed included 20 needle insertion atspecific place and depth for 20 minutes. The patients underwent10 sessions of acupuncture over three months.
The researchers then conducted tests on the nerves of patientsbefore and after acupuncture therapy, and six months post-chemotherapy. The same tests were also performed on fivepatients who did not undergo acupuncture.
In the acupuncture group of patients, test results showed an increase in speed and intensity of nerve signals. While in the control group, did not change the speed of their nerves.
